Our Core Purpose

For All Counseling is a nonprofit organization founded on the belief that systemic barriers should not restrict access to essential mental health support for individuals navigating complex legal processes. Our mission is to ensure every person’s complete story—including the impact of past trauma, persecution, and hardship—is thoughtfully and objectively considered. We are guided by the core values of Integrity, Equity, and Compassion, prioritizing a trauma-informed approach in every interaction.

We specialize in conducting objective, evidence-based mental health evaluations (psychosocial assessments) exclusively for immigration and asylum cases across Nebraska and Iowa.

Our experienced, culturally responsive clinicians understand that mental health factors are essential context for due process. Our thorough reports provide legal professionals with impartial insights, which support a comprehensive understanding of a client’s situation.

Our Foundational Values

Every aspect of our work is guided by our core values, ensuring we serve all individuals with dignity and respect.

Integrity

We commit to objective, evidence-based evaluations using the highest standards of impartiality and transparency to ensure fairness and due process for all.

Equality

We actively ensure fair access by removing systemic barriers, offering sliding scale services and language support so that no one is turned away due to inability to pay.

Compassion

We approach every client and team member with deep empathy, providing culturally safe and trauma-informed care that acknowledges humanity alongside clinical objectivity.
Access For All

Our Commitment to Accessibility

Systemic barriers must not restrict access to essential mental health evaluations for those in the legal process. Our commitment guarantees that every individual’s story is compassionately and objectively considered, regardless of financial or linguistic obstacles. To learn more please visit our Client’s Page.

Affordable Access

Our sliding scale and “Pay What You Can” programs are fundamental to our mission, guaranteeing no one is turned away due to financial hardship. This dedication to financial accessibility ensures that high-quality, objective evidence is available to all clients.

Services are provided in English and Spanish, and we arrange professional translators for all other languages. This ensures clear, accurate, and culturally safe communication is maintained throughout the entire evaluation process.

Our Pathway to Care program is a critical bridge, connecting clients with specialized, trauma-informed therapists for needed, ongoing support after their evaluation. We directly address common barriers like cost and scheduling to ensure continuity of care and healing.

What is an Immigration Evaluation?

An immigration evaluation is a specialized psychosocial assessment designed to provide evidence for immigration cases and answer specific psycho-legal questions. It goes beyond a mental health assessment, exploring the complex interaction of factors that influence an individual’s well-being and factors specific to immigration cases. Our work helps ensure that mental health factors are acknowledged, providing legal professionals with important insights necessary to present a comprehensive understanding of a client’s situation. We provide objective, specialized mental health evaluations for a wide range of immigration and asylum cases, ensuring crucial psychological context is documented for your legal team. To learn more please visit our Client’s Page.

Family & Hardship

We support Waivers and Cancellation of Removal by assessing the extreme or exceptional hardship that a U.S. relative would face. These evaluations thoroughly assess and document the emotional, psychological, and medical challenges.

We specialize in VAWA, U-Visas, and T-Visas by assessing and documenting the mental health effects of intimate partner violence, crime, or human trafficking.

Our services include evaluations for Asylum seekers to document trauma from persecution and N-648 cases for citizenship exceptions. We provide expert opinions on mental health conditions and disability-related learning exemptions.
